Edem & Coptic announce a joint album venture

Edem the charismatic MC/Boss from the Volta region of Ghana and Coptic have agreed on creating a joint album. These two powerhouses have already collaborated on songs in the past including "Hustle" ft Kwaw Kese, Black Rob & I-20, and “Little Girl” ft Joel Orleans & Renner. This album will focus on Edem’s rap style and will feature the production, mix and mastering of Coptic and his team in the United States.

These gentlemen have always talked about doing this project together but the lack of time has not allowed it to happen until now. Some of the songs are recorded in the U.S. when Edem visits and the rest are done in Ghana.

According to Coptic:

“Edem is one of my favorite MC’s out of GH for two reasons, his command of the Ewe language which is evident in his rap flows, and his business acumen.”

Coptic also stated:

“We are working on giving GH and all hip hop fans an album that they can hold up as a classic!”

The yet to be titled album features artists like Efya, Kat Rockell, EL, Jayso, JoJo Abot, Teephlow to name a few is due for a 2016 release, so keep a look out for the next few singles before that.
